Can't wait for the LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, etc. fans to show up here! LOL!

WE as Tide fans have some of the very best posters and people on CBS. The column Nic wrote about the Tides # 1 recruiting class is a great example. We Bama fans back each other and lift each other up. Thats what being a Bama fan is all about to me. Backing the team with class with friends.

I noticed that Alabama is # 20 on CBS college football boards, and I thought - no way! Bama behind Maryland, BC, Wisconsin? Tennessee???? NO way!!! Normally I try not to put too much stock in CBS "ratings", but I finally decided this one could be put to good use.

Now WE have started a thread on the Bama board to get us all together. Make sure the Bama Nation is all on board. Kind of a "meet and greet" thing. Add each other to favorites, and help the newer members get to levels that allow avatar choice, blogging, etc...

We are going to have many new fans coming on board as Bama rises back to the natural order in college football. I would like to know who was here when times were tough. Welcome Bama Nation and friends!

I post another question for you, how does CBS determine the best posters for each team if you look at the ones for Bama, such as Quix (SP) and Sensi and a couple of the others, they haven't posted for days sometimes months but are showing as our best posters. If you will also notice most of them don't even post on our threads when they do decide to join in.

So what is it you do that has you up all hours of the night or in our case the day, the wife doesn't understand why I'll come home at 6:30 and have a few beers, it's because that's my nighttime for me.

I consult for automated materials handeling systems. Planning, and technical writing. Some installation, but I try to avoid the plants these days.Trading equities is why I'm on the internet at all hours. Gotta get the closing Far Easten (China, Japan, etc...) numbers and the US markets futures. Plan my stratgey for the days market, etc... Its been especially crazy lately.

Good luck with that stuff Sky, thank goodness my boy is only 11 and we haven't started having those problems with our daughter yet either. Trust me brother I hope that day doesn't come anytime soon.

Anyway, I'm over protective for the same reason but my wife doesn't help the cause when she has to throw in "well you used to do that."

This threads really going strong. I think I'm caught up adding all the new Bama fans to favorites. Now its on to Baton Rouge.  Coach Saban will have Bama ready. I think the "revenge" aspect will actually work against LSU this time.

Congrats to Alabama on getting the #1 ranking.  You have played well to this point and I want to wish you all the best for the rest of the regular season.  

On a slightly negative note, I'm not convinced that you have played at the same level of intensity that Florida and even Texas Tech have shown of late, but that situation may get corrected in the SECCG.   If you beat Florida then I'll become a believer.  In any case you control your own destiny to the NCG while Florida needs help even if we win the SEC.

That's a fair assessment and as good as any I've seen.   Added you in spite of who you support and where you live.

Welcome back Bama. For a while there we didn't know where you guys went but you showed up on 1/9/12. I watched the game and could not believe the domination of our offense. Someone please tell me (honestly) if Jordan Jefferson was playing for you guys would you have wanted him pulled and Jarret Lee or Mett to be put in his place. Did it look like to you that the LSU coach quit on his team ? Did it look like to you no adjustments were made at halftime ? Just wondering ! I think this year will be a better game and I think LSU will probably give a better showing on offense. See ya in Baton Rouge !

That's ok Sky. Hoosiers don't have much to talk about in football but we're getting better. Actually I watch most of my live games at Illinois because I'm so close to Champaign plus I get to cheer for a new team every game! Plus, it is a great place to tailgate.

Since Sky vouched for you I threw ya a couple of 5's, I've been to the Illini's home field as I went thru Chanute for tech school if your old enough to know of that place, pretty nice area did quite abit of drinking around there, I saw Illinois and Purdue play met Jeff George and got his autograph without even knowing who he was.

Alabama is good real good and we will not pull another 6-0 start and then finish 6-6. Bama wins vs Georgia 24-21 on a 55 yard field goal by Lee Tifin. RTR
