not that big of a deal as I only scored 62 or something like that pointsGood on you. Hope Treff is absent because he's either up to his ears in writing assignments or getting his ashes hauled by somebody worthwhile. |

In my money league I got dropped to 7-4 last night by a guy starting Brady and Gronk;I really thought Karma was gonna get me last night as Fuzzy had 2 players I previously owned. When Gronk got the second TD I was sweatin it I swindled Cam Newton off a guy early for Daniel Thomas, which saved me from relying on Bradford. And as in our league, I leaned on Ogbonnaya the last couple of weeks and that turned out pretty well. But the guy I'm probably happiest owning is Jimmy Graham. Another nice waiver wire pickup was Antonio Brown. Yeah, I would say you swindled him. I have to say I like Daniel Thomas a little more every week but it would take like 30 weeks til I liked him as much as Cam. Jimmy Graham is just a beast and I still am considering keeping him in my keeper league over Roddy, Nicks, Welker, Austin and Stafford(not a QB friendly league). Dude I have been winning games I should not be winning! I like it but just one more injury could spell disaster. BTW, I was hoping Daniel Thomas would be my second keeper next year..........and last but not least................. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgrIpPpOhMw&feature=related Rock On..........(couldn't help it but at least this guy is the best!) |

DUB had asked which division would rack up the most wins in inter-division play. Well, it wasn't even close:
West 21-11 Central 14-18 East 13-19 In fact, the third-place team in the West would be leading the Central. |

Hey DUB, not everybody posted their teams yet but here is ours.
Matthew Stafford THE RRC's (Me) Arian Foster THE RRC's Matt Forte Superchargers Chris Johnson God's Team MJD Viva Dez Bryant Viva Vincent Jackson Superchargers Jimmy Graham THE RRC's New England Kicker whos name I butcher Gods team Steelers Gods Team Would have AP if not for injury, sitting Nicks and Welker or we would have to sit either Stafford,Foster or Graham. We could play Cam and sit Stafford but me thinks tomorrow is a shootout for real! Was able to pick up Burlson in this league and with his increased targets lately I would say he has a nice game. True, Scape.
The most bizarre stat is that Lefty leads in points and is next-to-last in points against. So you think he'd be stomping the rest of us instead of sitting at 6-5. |

Week 12 - Thanksgiving (2 Upsets Edition) Pick 'Em
Duff over Lefty - I'm just rooting for the upset here and hoping Lefty's team tanks it for just one week. Maybe Lefty's team eats too much pie and turkey and all the fixin's and the tryptophan kicks in come game time and they all fall asleep or are just too groggy to play. Treff over Boomer - Boomer's team is already on a losing streak and losing Peterson doesn't help any. Wil over Sam - This one's too close to call, so I'm going with the upset. I think Cam Newton and Oingoboingo give Wil a slight edge over Flacco and Lynch for Sam. After all, Lynch can't keep this up, or can he? AveJoe over Foot - Brady gets the job done for Joe. What a mess at WR you guys have! That's enough to make a grown man cry. Tom Brady may outscore all 6 of your starters by himself. DUB over Lefty - Aaron Rodgers in a shootout versus the Lions should win this game for DUB. That and the subliminal message hat avatar, although that's a nice shade of pink on Lefty's avatar. Hmmmmm.............Nope, still going with DUB. Scapegoats over Fuzzy - The respective QB's for Scape's WR's will be tossing TD's like the monkeys flinging feces at the zoo. Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving with your friends and family everyone. |

Here ya go. This is a big week in the MBBRL so lets get it started!
Sam over Will- Sam is outclassed at QB by alot but those WR's more than make up for what he is lacking at QB. Ravens D decides to show up at home and the rest is history! It will be close. TREFF over Boomtown- TREFF's RB's trump Boom's advantage(slight) at WR(Welker goes off this week but the rest bomb). DUB over Lefty- Was looking for an upset here but I just can't see it. Maybe if Jordy Nelson has a monster but that would make 3 weeks in a row and the only Packer receiver to do that is Mr. Greg Jennings. Scape over Fuzzies-Those WR's of Scape's just too much. River's has a big game targeting #83 early and often. (had to get a plug in there for my guy) Duff over One4-Even though Duff thinks One4 is playing a split squad this week, I still like Duff in this one as Arian Foster goes Ape pooh. Joe over Foot-Wow! Brady and Turner Burner trump Foots killer ass WR crew......oh wait, this is a post-trade game. Foots has no chance in this one. There ya go. Everybody have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving! Sam |

Treff vs boom - I think treff gets himself a much needed win as I hate seeing him go out like that.

Sam and will - too close to call - im leaning wil

Dub - Lefty - Lefty gets it i think.

One4 - Duff - another close one. I say duff.

scape over fuzzballs.

I am not picking mine I think that might be my problem. Either that or my wr core!
Joe over Foot - (Hopefully I avenge the loss from week 1.)
Treff over Boomer Will over Sam (I would not be surprised if Sam wins this game - but I have a feeling Cam and SJax do enough to help Will win.) DUB over Lefty Duff over One4 (Another game where One4 looks to have an edge - but I'll give Doug another shot.) Scape over Fuzzie All tough games this weekend. And I'm not in any money leagues. But it looks like I may make the playoffs in about half the leagues I'm in. But even a few of those teams are teetering on the edge of a playoff birth (except one which seems like a lock). |

Looks like we're all making a bunch of the same picks here.
In the marquee matchup, Scape's solidity all through his lineup beat Fuzzy's Brees, MJD and the Gronkmonster. Myself over Sam as Cam runs for 7 TDs DUB over Lefty, with the star being not Rodgers but Lloyd Treff over Boomer as he picks the right RB (I look for Shanahan to pull another W-T-F this week and give the ball to Evan Royster) and Hernandez gets the TD love Joe over Foot - it's the story of a man named Brady And I'm on the Duff bandwagon this week over one4 And let me also wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving, including our non-posting owners one4 and Boomer, Treff wherever he may be, and anyone else dropping in to browse. I used to think this was a stupid holiday, but things change. (And Joe, how was the game?) |

How can I maintain my underdog status if all you guys picked me this week to win.
![]() And Joe, I thought you had sworn off picking me to win. I'm beginning to think you may have a problem, sir. You might want to look into going to a few Picking Duff To Win Anonymous meetings. I may be drinking my own Kool-Aid most of the time but not enough to make me pick myself. ![]() |

(And Joe, how was the game?)Actually being at the Bears-Chargers game was awesome. It was a huge plus that the Bears won. But man, there are some crazy people at football games! And I mean crazy by even crazy-people standards. I was so high up in Soldier Field that I thought I was going to get vertigo. No kidding. But the whole experience only cost me the gasoline to drive downtown. A friend provided everything else. As the commercials say, "Priceless." And Joe, I thought you had sworn off picking me to win. I'm beginning to think you may have a problem, sir. You might want to look into going to a few Picking Duff To Win Anonymous meetings.I was going to go to a meeting, but our local PDTWA chapter closed. I think it was relocating back to Cleveland? |
