If I start apologizing to all the golfers I hurt by picking them this year, the season will be over before I finish.
if any one has Jeremy Mayfield on their fantasy team they probably want to drop him.
Ah, I finished 12th place last week, and climbed up the overall leaderboard 2 positions with the least difficulty, from 33rd to 31st, because the last two fantasy league owners ever hardly played. Now the real challenge has begun for me, and, however, it won't be easy for me because I have real contenders ahead, including Prev and Jimbo. Listen, Prev and Jimbo winners come with good, winning attitude. I seriously doubt I'll get in the top 10 by the end of the golf season, but I can look forward to second segement, which this following week begans with the Masters as first tourney of the second segement.
I have a good feeling about my new lineup for the Masters. Think I can finish better than 12th, but then again, it's the Masters, unlike any other tourneys, where only few known names often get in the top 5, top 10, top 25 the last 5 years. It'll be easy for you guys to get off with good names in your lineup. So I shall not get myself too ahead.
Speaking of Lefty and Woods, my little group is going back to our "no Woods" policy for now. Since the three of us have a small money pool going, and since all of us would take Tiger, he just offsets and doesn't really help any of us.
So Allin, Caddy's Shack and me, Caddyshackers, will look kinda foolish in the league when Tiger wins by 4 strokes, but it's not like we actually have a chance at winning the league anyway. Or at least, I sure as heck don't.
And Hammy, I agree with you. Nads will be missed. I know he's not as smart, good looking or cool as the rest of us, but there's something likeable about the guy, isn't there.
Jimbo, just let me know your 5 golfers so that I know who not to pick. I already know 1 of them. Poor guy. What did he ever do to you that you are going to cause him not to make the first cut?
Does anybody have a picture of Nads so we can print up a bunch of "Where's Nads" t-shirts and get more people involved in the mysterious disappearance of the man, the myth, the McMulligan?

prev, i wouldn't go without Tiger. Where would I be if not for him? You can relax, he's one of five golfers I'm having for the Masters. Althought what concern me the most, will it be better if I opt out to have tiger as one of the five golfers, in attempt to to get at least five mediocre golfers in order to get more points and $? But I really don't know how fantasy golf works, the point and money system, and how much can you get in each tournment, take the Masters for instance. Supposedly the Masters will give out more point and money than any other regular golf tourney expect for the other majors? I haven't checked the guideline to play fantasy golf yet, haven't got the time. In short, you could say I'm more careless lol.
Anubis, my little group isn't taking Tiger, but everyone else should. The key to scoring a lot at fantasy golf is getting one or more golfers who finish in the top 5. After that, the money falls off pretty quick. There isn't much difference in the points or money between the golfer who finishes 12th and the one who finishes 25th.
So picking the winner, or one or more of the top 5 will get you more points that getting all 5 golfers in the 15 to 25 range. The winner of the tournament usually gets over $1,000,000 and you get one point for each dollar they earn. But by the time you get to 10th place, it might be below $100,000. So the higher you can get one golfer, the better your score will be.
My group doesn't take Tiger just because we bet on the outcome each week and since we would all take Tiger, there is no advantage to it. So it would be like only having 4 golfers scoring against each other. Tiger is such a no-brainer pick, that I think he should be much higher in price, like maybe $400,000 in salary to make it more of a question if you should take him or not.
So what you are telling me is that Allenby and Appleby are NOT brothers???
No freaking way. Oh yeah, and I put 5 $75K guys in my lineup. I hope "ALLIN" doesn't care that 1 of those 5 is Couples. OOPS!!
So what you are telling me is that Allenby and Appleby are NOT brothers???
No, Stuart Applebys' brother is John Daly
By the way jake_steed, you have my hero as your avatar. Where are the bats?
Fear not, Jimbo. Your trend of causing golfers to lose money will continue.
Gotta go. My attorney and I are on our way to the carnival.
