It looks like we are gearing up to get a little head of steam going into the Hawks series. I believe Doc intends to play everybody but Ray Allen tonight. How important is it for us to win tonight, fellas? Word.
A sluggish first half and the absence of Ray Allen's marksmanship contribute to the Hawks defeat of the Celtics. Now facing the possible suspension of Rajon Rondo for game two due to the chestbump/ejection, Boston's back is against the wall down 1-0 in the first round of the playoffs. Now that we have gotten past game 1, having almost responded from a 20 point deficit, I think its possible we can head back to Boston knotted up at 1-1. We are going to have to do something to make Josh Smith move a little farther from the basket and try to contain Kirk Hinrich. Without Rondo, its going to be a bit more difficult and we'll need both Avery Bradley and Keyon Dooling step it up in a BIG way. Let's go, Boston - we didn't come this far to give it all away. Word.
bradley needs to show up, he finally showed everyone he could ball with the big boys and then went right back into his cowardly cave of not showing up when it matters.
if bradley pierce and kg come to play they can win this game. also they need pietrus to produce more with Ray Allen out for the foreseable future he needs to step his game up.
i dont see Josh Smith doing that again this series. you can count him down for 20 or so points... but no way will he get close to 20 boards in one game.
Well, let's hope Smith falls in love with the 3 tonight. I think Pierce at point forward is a good luck. We will need to have great spacing on the floor tonight. Word.

if pierce and garnett can play to their post allstar break averages, the Celtics wont have a problem dealing with the Hawks.. if they dont, then its gonna be difficult...
hopefully Bradley can knock down a few of those corner 3s, he got some good looks last game but was just missing.. i kinda feel like Doc is gonna light a fire under his arse and he's gonna step up.
How about the Truth? This guy is by far the most underrated hall of famer I've ever seen. Definite Top Ten Small Forward Ever. All this guy does is rise to the occasion. Way to go, Paulie. Game 3 Friday at the Garden. Rondo will be back and perhaps Ray Allen. Maybe Josh Smith is injured (get well soon)? Things are looking good for us. If Chicago manages to get past the 76ers, they will face a hungry Celtic team without Derrick Rose. We'll meet Miami in the conference finals where Doc will again get the most out of this bunch. Let's go, Boston! Word.
