Good afternoon all. It's prom day here, so I'm hanging out until it's time to head over.
Country Doctor (Live)- Bruce Hornsby and The Noisemakers
Hiding Out- Pete Townshend (from his album White City: A Novel)
Thunder Road (live)- Bruce Springsteen (from Live at The Hammersmithodeon). This is just a brilliant version of one of my all-time favorite songs. It's mostly just Bruce on piano and harmonica. The entire concert was released on both CD and DVD. Watching this performance, it's not too hard to see what all the hype surrounding Bruce was all about and well justified.
Midnight at The Movies- Justin Townes Earle
Hello jonny, good luck at the prom...hope you brought plenty of hormone repellent...
It's just 8th grade Koy, so it shouldn't be that bad.
I Want You- Elvis Costello
One of the most intense and raw musical moments is when I saw Elvis do this live about 10 years ago at The Beacon Theater in NY. It was jaw-dropping.

It was jaw-dropping.That makes me think of my latest jaw-dropping moment, Jonny. At the Amanda Shires/Rod Picott show last week, Amanda did a version of Leonard Cohen's "I'm Your Man" that literally left the audience stunned--there was 30 seconds of utter silence followed by a 2-minute standing ovation. Awesome.
