With as much respect to the 70's lyric and AM Gold fellows as I can offer, I would like to modernize the lyrics game a little for those of us who weren't alive when we landed on the moon. I enjoy the 70's lyrics game and AM gold tremendously and I try my best to keep up and such, but when you weren't alive or weren't more than 7 during those times, it's really hard to make out the B-sides and less popular songs. And I realize the threads allow for more recent songs but I feel there's enough good lyrics of my generation to begin a new modernized lyric thread. Again, nothing but respect for Florida, Fans, Rhino and the gang but here goes.... A little tune from the late 80's that's been in my head lately.......
"I used to do a little but a little wouldn't do so a little got more and more-uh,I just keep trying to get a little better, said a little better than before-uh...." (dang, that's a great song...")
Three words to the whack, set yourself back Just gettin' down and you're not givin' no slack Like a Burger King and a sack of Big Macs We're throwing down with the radical sacks

This guy was pretty quiet in the 90's but he did have this great song:
Billy had a mistress down on 'A' and 12th She was that little somethin' that he did for himself His own little secret didn't hurt nobody Come the afternoon he'd take her wadin'
