Romans 10:
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”[e] 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”[f]
Romans 9:
16 It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. 17 For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”[g] 18 Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.

22 What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction? 23 What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory—
Holy Father, we lift up all requests, particularly Gary's mom. We ask that Your grace and mercy will be clear and that Your Name will be honored and You will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven. We ask that the lost will obtain Your mercy, and that You will reveal Yourself to each in his/her place of need. Send Your Holy Spirit to lay hold of their hearts, regardless of their indifference or blindness to their own need. Still the mocking tongue and quicken the minds and hearts deadened by sin and ignorance. Bring repentence that the efficacious Blood of the Lamb of God may cleanse from all unrighteousness, suppressed in wicked disobedience, we pray, in Jesus' Blessed Name, Amen.
