Verse:

Malachi 2:10
   Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers? (KJV)

Thought:

   ‘We’re all in this together’.  It has never been truer than in today’s time of world troubles. So what if we have differences of opinion on certain matters. Everybody does at one time or another. This is to be expected. Whatever happened to the mature ideal of having a rational discussion and exchange of ideas? That’s how problems are solved and new ideas are created. More than ever mankind needs to work together for the common good of all. Never forget these words, ’United We Stand; Divided We Fall!’

Prayer:

Our Heavenly Father,
   Thank You for this day and all of Your blessings in our lives. Abba Lord, have Your Holy Spirit teach us how to be more patient and understanding when listening to others’ point of view. Let our minds be open to new ideas as long as they are not contrary to Your Word and Your will. Show us how to present our ideas and thoughts in a cordial, constructive manner. May we show others the meaning of ‘Brotherhood’.
   We lift our prayers up to You in the Name of Your Son, Jesus the Christ…Amen.
